Packing List Suggestions
Northeast Kingdom weather can be finacky in the summer. We always recommend layers.
Evenings are cool, days can be warm.
Headgear
- Baseball Cap (please leave baseball caps and hats outside of the dining hall and ski lodge)
- Sunhat
- Sunglasses
Clothing
- T-shirts/tank tops
- Shorts/exercise skirt/leggings for hiking, biking, walking
- Long Pants
- Pull-over/Jacket
- Jeans
- Raincoat
- Sweater/Sweatshirt
- Swim Suit (mandatory!)
- Cover-up ( Optional)
- Dress Clothes (country club casual...for 1-2 dinners) coordinating shoes -keep in mind uneven ground
- PJs
- Fleece/Flannel Outwear
- Undies
Footwear
- Hiking boots (optional - recommended)
- Athletic shoes (they may get dirty - you have been warned!)
- Flip flops (the grass is always dewey in the morning - so your shoes will get wet!)
- Socks
Bathroom Kit
- Brush/Comb
- Travel Shampoo/Conditioner
- Toothbrush/Toothpaste
- Anti-itch ointment
- Insect Repellant (we have a lot of this...don't stress!)
- Sunblock
- Mini-med kit (Tylenol, etc. - we have a good variety of stuff, but always good to have what you know works for you and yours)
Extras - not required, but can be helpful to have
- Passports (in case we have a bad weather day, we could pop over to Canada)
- Leave all chewing gum at home (no gum at Camp!)
- Camera
- Headlamp or small flashlight
- Downloaded music playlists - WiFi is non-existent at the lake and in the Dining Hall (we have Bluetooth speakers, but music must be on your phone in order to play)
Snacks and Beverages
We will host breakfast and dinner at the Dining Hall. Lunch is dependent on the daily activities. Dinner is always preceded by Happy Hour.
You are encouraged to purchase additional snacks and beverages (to enjoy between main meals). For those traveling from Boston, we recommend stopping at the New Hampshire Liquor Store (it is just across the state border) - as there is no sales tax.
**In keeping with Camp rules (since its inception), there is no gum allowed at camp and no smoking.
