Arrival InformationCheck-in is at the Dining Hall. Once you’re checked in, we will help get you situated in your lodgings. This is a farming and vacation community. Most of the roads in this area are unpaved. Be careful driving as there are (a) speed traps near Island Pond and East Charleston, and (b) cows, deer and pedestrians. Being aware of deer is especially important for all of you arriving later in the evening. That is the time when the deer tend to jump in front of cars! When you get to Camp Winape be extra careful as there are MANY ROCKS in and around the road. Be extremely careful about backing up as we have seen many accidents where rental cars meet rock. The rock always wins! You can park in the areas on the map, particularly near the Upper Garage near the dining hall (we will have it marked).
